Content doesn't collect any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

What the app does with the network

Content makes network requests in these cases:

RSS feeds — to fetch articles from the feeds you subscribe to. Requests go directly from your device to each feed's server.

Article content — to load full article text, requests go directly to the article's website. Those sites see a normal browser request from your IP address, the same as visiting them in Safari.

Feed icons — icons are loaded via DuckDuckGo's favicon service (icons.duckduckgo.com). DuckDuckGo may see which domains you follow.

What is stored

All data — your feeds, articles, tags, and reading history — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server operated by us. Deleting the app removes all data.

Third parties

Content has no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDKs. The only third-party network contact is DuckDuckGo's favicon service, described above.

Children

Content is not directed at children under 13.
